Job summary

RxFunction, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a hands-on Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will establish daily management boards, coordinate with planning, and mentor supervisors to optimize flow in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing, deep Lean/5S experience, and a track record of Kaizen and cost-reduction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams and achieving production performance objectives.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience implementing and sustaining 5S.
• Experience leading Kaizen events and structured improvement activities.
• Experience using production metrics and visual management systems.
• Experience with production planning, capacity planning, and schedule execution.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing transactions.
• Experience with inventory management and material flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
• Develop and monitor production metrics and daily management boards.
• Lead daily production meetings and drive issue escalation and resolution.
• Develop and execute production build plans based on demand, capacity, staffing, and material availability.
• Partner with Supply Chain to maintain inventory levels and material flow.
• Utilize ERP systems to support production planning and manufacturing transactions.
• Drive Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement across the operation.
• Lead Kaizen events focused on productivity, waste reduction, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Promote 5S standards in production and warehouses.
