Job summary

Qualifications

• . BS/MS in Engineering (Quality/Industrial) preferred.
• . 2+ years in engineering with BS or 0+ years with MS.
• . Production environment with high-tech products and complex processes.
• . Experience in technical Production Engineering and quality methods such as SPC and FMEA.
• . Quality and Lean Six Sigma manufacturing.
• . Engineering with an industrial/business mindset.
• . Ability to read optical, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• . Strong MS Excel data management and presentation skills.
• . MATLAB, LabVIEW and Python are a plus.
• . NX, Teamcenter and SAP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide SPC parameter support, CTQ/CTC targets, and offline reviews.
• Facilitate PFMEA reviews and follow-up actions.
• Facilitate DOA investigations with the DOA process.
• Spend up to 50% in the Cleanroom, assisting production with quality improvements.
• Use SPC data to drive structural process improvements and targets.
• Chair cross-sector SPC review meetings and present data.
• Generate and distribute SPC reports for multiple modules weekly.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Optical, Mechanical, Electrical and Software teams on quality processes.
• Develop and implement quality templates, tools, and systems.
• Help set process targets and goals.
• Develop reporting tools with teams to automate data collection.
• Support ISO readiness and manufacturing quality audits.
• Support Quality Management reviews and 6P reviews.
• Assist in-production quality issues with cross-team communication and data analysis.
• Review Failure Analysis Reports to validate root-cause and interface with customers.
• Develop manufacturing procedures and work instructions from a quality perspective.
• Support new product introduction in a Concurrent Engineering environment.
• Guide equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and procurement for analytical instruments.
• Work in a cleanroom; exposure to magnetic fields, high voltage, and related hazards.
