Job summary

Base is hiring a hands-on IT Support Specialist for our flagship battery factory (BF1) and warehouse network in Texas. You’ll be the first IT contact on the factory floor, handling laptops, scanners, printers, and production-adjacent systems, with a focus on keeping operations running.

This role is second shift, Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 12 am. You’ll deploy Zebra hardware, manage Jira Service Management tickets, onboard/offboard employees, and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT support experience in manufacturing or warehouse.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Jira.
• Proficient in Windows and Mac troubleshooting; basic networking.
• Strong communication and ability to train others.
• Good time management and ability to manage a ticket queue.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with Zebra scanners/printers and MDM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support across factory/warehouse devices.
• Deploy and maintain Zebra hardware; calibrate printers.
• Manage IT tickets via Jira Service Management.
• Own onboarding/offboarding processes for employees.
• Troubleshoot network/connectivity across site environments.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and document procedures.
