Job summary

Siemens is seeking an IT Support Engineer for the 3rd shift at our Grand Prairie/ Fort Worth area facilities in Texas. The role provides on-site IT support for manufacturing operations, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and ensuring devices and printers stay operational to keep production running smoothly.

You will document processes, manage inventory, and align with Siemens IT and cybersecurity guidelines while delivering frontline support to site employees in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on support in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting abilities.
Comfort with TCP/IP and network basics.
Experience with Windows OS and PC/Laptop support.
Familiarity with Azure basics and Microsoft 365 apps.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site IT support for manufacturing devices and printers.
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues to minimize downtime.
Serve as first point of contact for site employees on IT queries.
Document IT processes and incident reports thoroughly.
Maintain inventory and arrange replacements of IT equipment.
Follow Siemens IT and cybersecurity guidelines; assist training.
