Job summary

Siemens is seeking an IT Support Engineer for 3rd shift to provide on-site IT support at our Grand Prairie, TX Breaker site or Alliance, TX plant. You will ensure PCs and printers are operational, diagnose issues, and support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting, familiarity with TCP/IP, and beginner Azure knowledge. Strong Office skills and AD familiarity will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Desire to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP including IP addressing, subnets, and gateways.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Azure in a Large Enterprise Environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Power Point).
• Experience supporting PCs running a Microsoft operating system.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site IT support to ensure devices are operational and up-to-date.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Provide frontline support to manufacturing site employees as first point of contact.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes and incident reports.
• Maintain inventory of IT hardware and ensure timely acquisition and replacement of equipment.
• Stay up to date with Siemens IT and Cybersecurity guidelines and conduct training sessions.
