Job summary

Base is seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to join our factory IT team in Texas, supporting the BF1 production floor and warehouse network. You’ll be the first IT contact for on-site issues, handling tickets, walk-ups, and direct troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly.

This second-shift role (Mon-Fri, 3 p.m.–12 a.m.) requires travel across Texas facilities and eventual expansion to additional states as Base grows.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT support in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Experience with Windows and macOS devices and basic networking.
• Strong communication and ability to work on production floor.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on IT support for factory and warehouse environments, including laptops, scanners, printers, kiosks, time clocks, badge printers, and production-adjacent systems.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Zebra hardware across all locations, including wireless barcode scanners, charging docks, and thermal transfer label printers.
• Manage the IT ticket queue through Jira Service Management and support channels (chat, email, and in-person), prioritizing issues based on operational impact.
• Own end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop and scanner provisioning, badges, SIM cards, account access, and device returns or wipes.
• Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues across factory and warehouse environments, including Wi-Fi, switches, access points, and printer connectivity.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, spare-parts stock, and software license and access audits. Develop technical documentation, self-service troubleshooting resources, and IT procedures while identifying opportunities to improve ticketing workflows.
