Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is hiring a Receivables Finance Factoring Operations Specialist to manage daily cash applications for the WRF client portfolio. You will collaborate with the operations team, ensuring accurate posting and timely processing while keeping clients informed.

Reporting to the Factoring Operations Specialist, Team Lead, you’ll follow established policies, resolve posting issues quickly, and maintain professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• Must have up to 5 years of factoring, banking and/or asset-based lending operations experience.
• Detail oriented and well organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills for working with clients and department personnel.
• Proactive and confident communication skills (verbal and written) with clients and senior management.
• Ability to work closely with fellow Operations team members.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to pick up new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process daily WRF client cash receipts accurately and efficiently.
• Follow established WRF operations policies and procedures.
• Escalate payment posting issues promptly for resolution.
• Serve as the primary operations contact for assigned clients.
• Maintain communication with client lead, team lead, and portfolio manager about issues.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all clients.
• Ensure incoming client emails are queued correctly and data saved on the server.
• Adhere to bank compliance policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as required.
