GEO Group is seeking an experienced security leader to oversee the direction and management of security operations at a detention facility. You will supervise security personnel, enforce safety policies and coordinate with client agencies to meet operational goals.

The role requires a decade of facility experience and a track record of mid-level management within correctional environments. It offers 24/7 coverage responsibilities and opportunities to influence safety and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a detention or correctional facility.
• Minimum 5 years as mid-level manager in a detention or correctional facility.
• U.S. citizenship and must be at least 21 years old; willingness to undergo a rigorous background check.

Responsibilities

• Directs security department functions, activities and supervision of security personnel.
• Ensures safety and security of staff, visitors, detainees and facility; implements procedures and post orders.
• Responds to emergencies, develops long-range plans and coordinates with management for facility goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences or related field
