Job summary

The GEO Group is a global leader in evidence-based rehabilitation and reentry services. This role oversees security personnel, ensures adherence to safety policies, and coordinates training aligned with federal, state, and corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in corrections, criminal justice, human services or related field (official waiver possible with relevant background).
• Two+ years of management/supervisory experience in a correctional setting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff and provide guidance.
• Recruit, hire, orient, train and evaluate security personnel.
• Ensure security operations follow policies and docs.
• Coordinate training programs with federal, state, local and corporate requirements.
• Oversee inmate transport coordination and disciplinary processes.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and safety checks.
