Job summary

Life Time is hiring a Facility Operations Assistant Manager to support the Facility Operations Manager in keeping our clubs clean, safe and welcoming. This full-time role covers facility upkeep, member service, and mentoring staff when the Manager is absent.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, CPR/AED within 30 days, AFO, and CPO within 3 months, plus 1 year of customer service. Flexibility, budgeting input, and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification must be achieved within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• AFO certification is required.
• CPO license must be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in maintaining locker rooms, fitness floors, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to member feedback promptly and provide follow-up solutions.
• Assist manager with monthly and annual budget recommendations.
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, counseling and feedback to staff.
• Participate in Safety Committee to ensure OSHA-compliant policies.
• Assist recruiting and interviewing for Operations.
• Attend weekly department and club meetings.
• Build positive member relationships and gather feedback.
• Coordinate and create Operations staff schedules.
