Job summary

Mount Airy Nursing and Rehab in Maryland is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our facility safe, comfortable, and compliant for residents and staff. You will contribute to preventive maintenance planning, respond to urgent repair requests, and support safety inspections to protect everyone on site.

You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems, maintain logs and invoices, collaborate with facility staff, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver equipment.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct inspections and report issues to supervisors.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems; perform minor renovations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and invoices.
• Collaborate with facility staff to address maintenance-related issues.
• Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
