Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility environment a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must have a polite and courteous demeanor towards residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing preventative maintenance for the facility, building, systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipment.
• Performs repairs and maintains records and logs.
• Ensures compliance with State and Federal regulatory codes.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Reads and logs temperatures daily.
• Manages supplies within budget and follows PO procedures.
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
