Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform routine and specific maintenance services across our facility. You will handle general maintenance and repair tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment repair, and assist as needed in emergencies.

The role requires experience in maintenance or facility operations, completion of preventive maintenance schedules, safe use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment (plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical).
• Back-up for call person in case of emergency; respond timely.
• Use safe handling of tools and equipment; operate hand and power tools.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule and complete reports as requested.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm system, lighting, and plumbing; record data.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
