Novant Health is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate maintenance and repair on hospital assets, including HVAC, mechanical and utility systems, and building structures. Qualifications

• Two years of experience performing plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility or similar environment.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems, including a familiarity with Fire Alarm Systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate safely in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level maintenance and repair to extend service life of assets, including structures, HVAC, mechanical and utility systems, and grounds.
• Support a safe, compliant, and fully operational healthcare environment.
• Use hand and power tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Respond to service requests and preventive maintenance promptly.
• Follow safety practices, codes, and Environment of Care standards.
• Interact with patients, visitors, and team members with strong customer service.
