Job summary
Novant Health is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician II to perform maintenance and repairs across hospital facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, and building work. This on-site role supports safe, compliant operations and patient care by addressing issues promptly and collaborating with multiple hospital departments.
Two years of healthcare facility maintenance experience and a solid understanding of MEP systems are required.
Qualifications
- Two years of experience in plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility or similar setting.
- Basic understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Valid driver''s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform hospital maintenance and repairs including building structures, HVAC, mechanical and utility systems, plumbing, and grounds exterior areas.
- Respond to work requests and scheduled maintenance in a timely manner.
- Safely use a variety of hand and power tools and follow safety rules and codes.
- Provide friendly, professional service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Work with the Plant Engineering team and other hospital departments.
