Job summary

Artesia Palms Care Center is seeking a maintenance staff member responsible for keeping the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient state. The role involves following schedules, reporting incidents, and coordinating with nursing staff during routine tasks in resident living areas.

The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple trades, replace lighting, clean windows, and ensure proper storage of tools and supplies while maintaining resident

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Experience with general maintenance tasks is a plus.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, efficient condition.
• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shifts or areas.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Replace bulbs and clean windows; service HVAC units as needed.
• Coordinate with nursing services during routine tasks in resident areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
