Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensure safety, and maintain facilities and equipment to high standards. Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Understanding of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain standards: ensure facility and equipment are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules: plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
