Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensure safety, and drive regulatory compliance. You will hire, train, and supervise the maintenance team while managing schedules and budgets.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, inspect HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators, coordinate external contractors, document inspections, and promote safety throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance; healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a PM program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget: order maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: coordinate work by external contractors.
• Maintain standards: ensure safety, operability, and regulatory compliance.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and safety adherence.
• Coordinate schedules: plan staffing per census needs and labor budgets.
