Job summary

CGL is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on existing HVAC systems at our client sites. The role includes installing and maintaining equipment such as VAV boxes, air handling units, and associated controls, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, read blueprints, and possess EPA 608 Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• EPA 608 Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and some corrective HVAC maintenance per CMMS work orders.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains HVAC equipment including VAV and related components.
• Maintains safe operation of systems and tests environmental controls.
• Inspects completed work for conformance with local codes and safety standards.
• Escorts subcontractors and supports other maintenance tasks as directed.
