Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive and some corrective maintenance on existing HVAC systems for our client. The role requires hands-on work with equipment, documentation in CMMS, and adherence to safety standards.

You will install, repair, and maintain components such as VAVs, air handling units, boilers, pumps, and air compressors, while quickly learning facility layouts and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• HVAC-related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and some corrective HVAC maintenance per CMMS work orders.
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, pumps, belts, fans, VAVs, and air handling units.
• Maintain safe operation of environmental controls and boilers.
• Diagnose problems using inspection/testing techniques and proper tools.
• Learn facility layouts and operating procedures; follow safety and codes.
• Inspect completed work for conformance with codes and client specs.
• Escort subcontractors and supervise work at the site.
• Perform additional maintenance tasks as directed by CGL Facility Management.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace; complete training as assigned.
• May assist in training other technicians; provide mentorship.
• Driving company-required or client-site travel may be necessary.
