Job summary

SmartBear in Somerville, MA is seeking a Workplace Services Manager to run the day-to-day office experience, facilities operations, and create a welcoming environment.

You will manage vendors, contractors, and site services, coordinate moves, events, health and safety compliance, and partner with the Director, Facilities and Real Estate to raise service levels and cost efficiency. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in workplace services, facilities management, office operations, or a similar environment.
• Experience managing external suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to prioritize planned work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day workplace experience and facilities operations for SmartBear’s Somerville office.
• Oversee relationships with building management, contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Lead onsite workplace projects including moves, events, and space changes; monitor vendor performance.
