Job summary

The University of North Texas is seeking a Work Control Assistant to support Facilities operations in Denton. This part-time role uses the CMMS (WebTMA) to receive and process service requests, assign and route work orders, and assist with daily maintenance tasks.

You will answer phones, greet visitors, and provide accurate information while upholding UNT’s values of service, integrity, and excellence. A background in call center work and basic database skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a call center environment.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Able to deal with deadlines and stress.
• Experience with CMMS, especially TMA, or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintains CMMS and processes service requests with detail; assigns work center and issues account number, routes work orders.
• Responds to calls for emergency services; dispatches appropriate craft by radio or contacts correct agency for response.
• Collects labor charges and billing receipts upon completion of projects, closes completed work orders.
• Provides customer service, answering inquiries as needed and directing to the appropriate area in facilities.
• Promotes Facilities core values and maintains a safe and secure work environment.
