Job summary

Marubeni America Corporation seeks a Facilities and IT Operations Manager for its New York location. The role oversees day-to-day facilities, office technology, AV, security, and building management systems, and supports crisis management and business continuity planning.

The candidate will lead the Systems Planning (IT) Team with multi-location support, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless service delivery for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5–7 years of facilities, technology, AV, security systems experience.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Strong vendor coordination and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations (mailroom, pantry, conference rooms, furniture, cleaning, maintenance).
• Supervise facilities staff and provide guidance on service delivery.
• Manage shipping vendors (FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL) including billing and reporting.
• Coordinate furniture reconfigurations, moves, and relocations with site inspections and budgets.
