Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a temporary Facilities Technician to respond to maintenance requests, perform preventive maintenance, prepare apartments for turnovers, and maintain safety and functionality of the property. You will work to ensure excellent service to residents in a fast-paced environment under supervision.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, use of Entrata/CMMS, and strong communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school; 1–3 years of full-time maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type I certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO), or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with Entrata, CMMS, and building automation systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and stand 8 hours daily; able to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in Entrata and CMMS systems for logging of service requests and completed work in a timely manner.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform physically demanding work to maintain the asset and features, minimizing liability.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and routine repairs to ensure timely turnover readiness.
• Inspect vacated apartments and record needed services and repairs for the supervisor.
