Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform maintenance, preventive tasks, and prepare apartments for turnover at our property. You will log work in Entrata/CMMS, inspect safety systems, and help keep the buildings in top condition for residents in a fast-paced, collegial environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of general maintenance, EPA 608 Type I, and CPO or plan to obtain. Travel and after-hours availability may be required, with a strong emphasis on customer-friendly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA 608 Type I certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills required.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Use Entrata and CMMS to log service requests and track work.
• Maintain property per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and preventive tasks.
• Complete daily service request documentation with notes and parts used.
• Inspect and ensure safety equipment and common areas are maintained.
• Assist in repairs of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical tasks.
• Interact professionally with residents, staff, and vendors.
