Job summary

The Scion Group LLC in New York is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair the property, prep apartments for turnovers, and manage supplies to ensure safety and functionality. You will support a fast-paced, collegiate environment with a strong emphasis on customer service and follow-through.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic appliance repair, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and daily logs.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures with a safety-conscious attitude and dependability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to travel to assigned properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs and OSHA requirements.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment and fixtures.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and coordinate with vendors.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document work performed.
• Assist in completing service requests and maintaining clean work areas.
• Promote positive public relations with residents and staff.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as required.
