Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance - Level I at our Venice, Florida community. The ideal candidate will perform multiple maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, groundskeeping, and janitorial duties, while ensuring property standards are met.

You will work as part of a team, stay on-call for emergencies, and coordinate with management on daily maintenance plans. A valid license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Current auto insurance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties including light appliance repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, janitorial, and more.
• Work as a team to ensure the community meets quality maintenance standards.
• Maintain amenity spaces and grounds, keeping trash and debris away.
• Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily vendor appointments and required work.
• Communicate with other maintenance staff, management and staff on special projects.
• Report maintenance concerns to management and perform repairs.
• Move heavy objects and may drive maintenance trucks to various locations on the property.
• Monitor and control maintenance inventory and supplies.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
