Equity LifeStyle Properties in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a Maintenance - Level 1 to perform a range of upkeep tasks across the community. The role includes light appliance repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, and janitorial duties.

You will collaborate with a team to uphold high maintenance standards and participate in daily vendor coordination. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and is willing to be on call

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
High school diploma or the equivalent experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heavy equipment.
Willing to be on call for emergencies that arise after hours.

Responsibilities

Maintain amenity spaces and ensure they are well maintained and working properly.
Maintain grounds and keep them free from trash and debris.
Collaborate with management to keep the property clean, safe and appealing.
Attend morning staff meetings to communicate daily tasks and vendor appointments.
Coordinate with maintenance team and management on special projects and repairs.
Report maintenance concerns promptly and perform repairs as needed.
Move heavy objects and operate maintenance trucks as required.
Monitor and control inventory and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
