Job summary

GGP is seeking a Facilities Technician at Mondawmin Mall in Baltimore to support the Operations team with preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety planning. You’ll work on HVAC/lighting, plumbing, painting, and decor tasks while assisting with events and snow removal.

The role requires 2–3 years in maintenance, a valid license, and the ability to read plans. Outlook experience and OSHA training are advantageous, with a supportive, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings.
• 2-year Tech School or trade certificate is a plus.
• OSHA General Industries 10-Hour course is a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Operate equipment for preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance such as painting, plumbing, lighting, and roofing.
• Assist with events setup and mall decor installation/takedown.
• Assist with snow removal and custodial duties as needed.
• Support safety and emergency planning with management.
