Job summary

The Scion Group LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Facilities Technician II to respond to maintenance and repair requests, perform preventive tasks, prep apartments for turnovers, and ensure safety and functionality of buildings and equipment. This role demands problem-solving, technical abilities, and reliable follow-through in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school with 3–5 years maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 and CPO certification or plan to obtain.
• Strong communication, safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with Entrata, CMMS and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform maintenance and repair to minimize liability.
• Oversee operating systems and preventive testing for major building systems.
• Monitor life-safety systems (fire pumps, alarms, sprinklers, detectors, extinguishers, emergency lighting, means of egress).
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule work with Facilities Manager or Supervisor.
• Ensure all service requests are completed.
