Job summary

The Scion Group LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain the property's buildings and equipment, respond to service requests, and prepare apartments for turnovers. This role requires proficiency with Entrata and CMMS, and adherence to SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years general maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type I certification required.
• CPO certification or intent to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication and safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and preventive maintenance tasks to keep the property safe and functional.
• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion of service requests.
• Document work performed, parts used, and required follow-up with clear notes and dates.
• Inspect vacated apartments and common areas, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Assist with basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and general upkeep to ready apartments.
