Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Facilities Technician II to maintain the property's physical condition, respond to maintenance requests and keep life-safety systems in optimal shape. You will handle preventive maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and support emergencies in a fast-paced student-living environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, and a safety-conscious, dependable approach. On-site property location with an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school credential required.
• 3–5 years of full-time general maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 required; CPO preferred or obtainable within six months.
• Strong communication, safety awareness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's physical condition per SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform demanding work to sustain asset functionality and safety.
• Oversee operating, monitoring/diagnostics and preventive testing of major systems.
• Monitor life-safety systems and emergency readiness, including alarms and extinguishers.
• Coordinate with vendors and schedule work under Facilities Manager guidance.
• Assist in developing emergency/disaster plans and ensure proper key management.
