Job summary

Northpoint Crossing in College Station, TX is hiring a Facilities Technician II to support maintenance, repairs, and preventive work across the property. You will prep apartments for turnovers and ensure the safety and functionality of building systems, with a focus on timely execution and high service quality.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, a CPO or plan to obtain, and strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or trade school diploma (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of full-time general maintenance experience or equivalent.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 (Core, Type I, II & III).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within 6 months.
• Good communication and ability to handle safety and security systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Ability to stand long hours and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and manage supplies.
• Monitor and diagnose life safety systems and building equipment.
• Assist in creating emergency and disaster preparedness plans.
• Maintain key management protocols and security; escort vendors as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and the Facilities Manager on daily tasks.
• Ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
