Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II to perform maintenance, preventive tasks, and turnover preparation in a fast-paced, collegiate setting. You will ensure safety and functionality of buildings and equipment, while delivering high-quality service to residents and staff.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/EPA 608 certification, and proficiency with Entrata and CMMS. A valid driver’s license and flexibility for after-hours work are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school; 3–5 years of full‑time maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification and EPA 608 certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intention to obtain within six months.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata) and CMMS; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance; inspect and service major building systems.
• Respond to service requests and document work performed with details.
• Assist in life safety system maintenance and emergency preparedness planning.
• Coordinate with vendors and the Facilities Manager to schedule work.
