Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician II at Noble 2500 in Austin, Texas. This role maintains, repairs, and oversees essential building systems, responds to service requests, and performs preventive maintenance to keep apartments and common areas safe and functional.

You will work in a fast-paced, collegiate environment, coordinating with vendors and the supervisor, document work, and uphold company safety standards while delivering excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of general maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification/EPA 608 (Core, Type I–III) is required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of key management and security systems.
• Safety procedures experience and dependable, punctual work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel when needed.
• Experience with Entrata, CMMS, BAS and Digital Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance and repair requests and perform preventive maintenance.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and coordinate with vendors.
• Operate BAS, Entrata and CMMS for logging of work.
• Diagnose and repair major building systems and ensure safety.
• Document work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs daily.
• Promote good relations with residents, staff, and management.
• Assist in after-hours emergencies and maintain on-call duties.
