Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform maintenance requests, preventive tasks, and turnover preparation at our properties. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and delivering strong service to residents and staff.

Work is on-site in our NY area properties, requiring 1-3 years of general maintenance, EPA 608 Type I, and a valid driver's license. You will collaborate with the Facilities Supervisor to meet deadlines and uphold building standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school plus relevant maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Type I certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Excellent communication and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Log service requests and completed work using Entrata and CMMS.
• Maintain property condition per SOPs, OSHA, and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs safely and promptly.
• Complete daily work and document parts used with signatures.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
• Inspect vacated apartments and coordinate with supervisor for repairs.
