GGP, located at Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, VA, seeks a Facilities Technician to support the Operations team in maintaining building systems and safety standards. The role involves hands-on maintenance, event setup, and interaction with tenants and the public.

Qualifications include 2–3 years in building maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and ability to read plans; bilingual skills are a plus. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Excellent communication with management, tenants, and vendors.
• Ability to read plans and schematics.
• Bilingual welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain interior/exterior areas including painting, plumbing, lighting, and roofing.
• Assist with inventory, records, and safety data sheets.
• Set up events and mall decor.
• Perform custodial duties and basic landscaping as needed.
• Assist snow removal as applicable.
• Support safety programs and OSHA-compliant practices.
• Participate in training and emergency planning.
• Interact with the public and tenants as needed.
