Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to maintain the CAO building, office spaces, grounds and systems to high standards. The role includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, and coordination with on-site service providers.

Responsibilities cover preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement, with seasonal grounds work and snow removal. A valid driver’s license and PPE knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in HVAC, Facility Maintenance or 3 - 5 years of related experience.
• Proficient computer skills (MS applications, CMMS).
• Basic understanding of buildings/grounds infrastructures (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, fire alarms, fire suppression).
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal customers, service providers, supervisor, and coworkers.
• Ability to coordinate and oversee performance of on-site service providers.
• Required knowledge of using proper PPE.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Occasional squatting and crawling required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Efficiently operate Forklift and scissors lift

Responsibilities

• Maintain CAO building and grounds to Andersen standards.
• Repair drywall, painting, and hardware.
• Perform plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC maintenance.
• Edit Building Automation Software in Niagra system.
• Oversee and coordinate on-site service providers.
• Manage supplies and use CMMS to record PMs and work orders.
• Ensure safety standards are met and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide continuous improvement ideas for processes.
• Grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
