Job summary

Andersen Corporation in Oak Park Heights, MN, along with multiple locations in Minnesota, seeks a Building Services Technician for first shift. You will maintain and repair building systems, equipment, and grounds, performing preventive maintenance and supervising contractors as needed.

The role requires an Associate degree in HVAC or related field (or 3-5 years of experience), strong CMMS skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3-5 years in HVAC or facility maintenance required.
• Proficient computer skills and CMMS familiarity expected.
• Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation).
• Ability to read instructions and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance, including drywall, painting, and repairs.
• Repair plumbing, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot building automation software Niagra for comfort/energy efficiency.
• Maintain and repair kitchen refrigeration, ovens, and related equipment.
• Manage PM work orders and inventory using CMMS; supervise on-site contractors.
• Support grounds maintenance and seasonal tasks; assist with safety compliance.
