Job summary

Robson Companies Inc. seeks a reliable maintenance technician to care for HOA residential communities. You will perform preventative and routine maintenance, handle general repairs, and manage work orders in our system.

You will inspect grounds and common areas, report safety issues to supervision, and be available for 24-hour emergency calls. Basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical tasks are expected, with a focus on resident safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school education.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, plumbing, and painting required.
• Experience with cleaning, locks, and gutters highly desired.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English; bilingual is a plus.
• Must be a proficient problem-solver.
• Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals safely.
• Experience with simple electric maintenance is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for access to a work order system and emails.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass drug test.
• Pay and Benefits: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly; Health benefits available.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine maintenance.
• Ensure completion of work orders using the work order system.
• General maintenance, janitorial, and grounds work throughout Community Associations.
• Periodic inspections of grounds, common area buildings, and structures.
• Advising supervisor of needed repairs, improvements, and safety issues.
