Job summary
Worth Ross Management Company, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service condo common areas and individual units under supervision.
You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance, assist with HVAC and fire-safety tasks, and help minimize downtime for residents. Requirements include a high school diploma, familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and handyman tasks, and at least 3 years of HOA/multifamily/hotel experience.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Groundskeeping and Handyman tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years of HOA, Multifamily, or Hotel experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain electrical and plumbing fixtures in common areas and units.
- Repair doors, knobs, locks, vents, walls and floors as needed.
- Back up maintenance supervisor, assist with repairs and replacements.
- Handle appliances, air handlers, lighting, water heaters, and smoke detectors.
- Record fire extinguisher locations and service dates; supervise contractors.
- Maintain pool pumps, heaters, filters, and pool water quality.
- Manage stockroom inventory and keep work area organized.
- Assist in creating manuals for principal machinery components.
- Respond to emergencies and on-call requirements; work extended hours.
