Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will upkeep grounds, facilities, streets, amenities, and equipment while delivering exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks with the Maintenance Supervisor, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety standards. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to handle after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient in operating hand tools, power equipment and commercial machinery.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work on-call and be available for afterhours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical integrity of the community and ensure a clean, safe living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and complete minor repairs to utilities and streets.
• Care for grounds, landscaping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and notice distribution as needed.
• Inspect and repair facilities and amenities to ensure good condition and safety.
