Job summary

City of Greenacres is seeking an experienced Facilities supervisory professional to oversee trades staff, coordinate maintenance and renovation projects, and ensure safe, cost-effective facility operations.

Responsibilities include planning work, assisting with procurement, and ensuring compliance with city policies and safety regulations. Florida-driver’s license and post-offer checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years in building maintenance or related public works activity with supervisory experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
• FEMA IC 100 and IS-700 certifications or ability to acquire within twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and complete work with staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Assist with procurement; research cost-effective materials and services.
• Assist in preparing specifications and requisition documentation; evaluate suppliers.
