Job summary

The City of Greenacres is seeking a Building Services Supervisor to oversee repair and maintenance programs for city facilities, including buildings, pavilions, shelters and related structures. You will lead a team, schedule work, and coordinate resources to keep facilities in safe, functional condition.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Florida driver's license, and a willingness to undergo post-offer medical exams and fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license.
• Good moral character and post-offer medical exam.
• Post-offer physical examination and Level II fingerprinting required.
• Minimum three professional/personal references.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and supervises repair and maintenance programs for public facilities.
• Develops and monitors daily, weekly, monthly and annual work plans.
• Allocates labor resources to repair, maintain and improve facilities.
• Ensures safety practices and conducts on-site safety inspections.
• Prepares budget monitoring and reports to the Director.
• Procures equipment, supplies and services for the division.
• Maintains inventory and preventative maintenance schedules.
