Job summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Facility Systems Technician to operate, maintain, and repair boiler, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related systems across Mercy facilities. The role emphasizes safe, reliable environments and exceptional service to hospitals and clinics.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of commercial experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license. Training on site may be required within 12 months where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: None
• EPA Universal Certification required within 12 months of employment
• 4+ years of commercial experience with HVAC, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
• Requires valid driver’s license for all Mercy locations
• Licenses: Boiler/HVAC/Refrigeration preferred or required in some locations

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair electrical/plumbing systems, movable equipment, and facility assets.
• Resolve repair issues independently with minimal supervision.
• Support hospitals and clinics to ensure safe environments and reliable facility operations.
• Utilize strong customer service and communication skills in daily tasks.
