Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs complex preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC equipment, machinery and controls.
• Monitors building system operations and performance under general direction.
• Operates, maintains, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment including mechanical/HVAC/plumbing systems, electrical/cabling, life safety, and building management systems.
• Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors and coordinates tasks within a work unit.
• Maintains the lighting system and energy management programs to minimize operating costs.
• Responds to emergencies and customer concerns; uses work order systems and email for communication.
