Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 3+ years supervisory/administrative experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree with 5+ years supervisory/administrative experience.
• Valid Driver's License; TN residency requirement per ordinance.
• Experience in facilities operations, property management, or related field.
• HUD or affordable housing compliance certification.
• OSHA 10/30 safety training.
• Facility Management/Building Operations certification (IFMA, BOMI).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility and maintenance processes for housing and shelter assets.
• Coordinate maintenance, landscaping, custodial services, and repair projects.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly safety inspections of assigned facilities and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, local codes, ordinances, and safety requirements.
• Respond promptly to property management issues, operational disruptions, and emergencies.
• Develop building-operation policies, procedures, best practices, and internal controls.
• Communicate with Metro departments, community partners, and stakeholders regarding facility concerns.
• Monitor expenditures and assist with fiscal reporting.
• Prepare annual reports on operational status, compliance, and facility performance.
• Investigate facility concerns, incidents, and complaints, offering solutions and documenting outcomes.
