Job summary

JLL seeks a seasoned Facilities Supervisor to oversee maintenance for a GLP laboratory facility and related site infrastructure in Mattawan, MI. You will plan preventive and corrective activities, coordinate with service providers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the campus.

This role requires 10+ years in facilities leadership, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, plus budgeting, vendor management and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and maintenance tracking.
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Budgeting, forecasting and vendor/contract oversight.
• Project coordination for moves, upgrades and maintenance timelines.
• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor preferred.
• At least 10 years in facilities teams within regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for GLP laboratory facility space.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors for maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine site inspections of office space and infrastructure.
• Ensure timely renewal of maintenance contracts and verify contractor work.
• Assist employees with facilities requests and coordinate with clients on needs.
• Maintain a safe GLP space by following procedures and regulations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and incident documentation.
• Ensure compliance with JLL audit standards and manage end-user expectations.
