Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Mattawan, MI, seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for a GLP laboratory facility space, coordinating with vendors and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will drive maintenance programs, monitor contractor performance, and support administrative duties while ensuring safety and timely reporting. A strong background in facilities leadership and project coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in facilities management and maintenance tracking software.
• Understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Familiarity with commercial building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting to manage facilities expenses.
• Contract management skills for vendor oversight.
• Project coordination for moves, upgrades and maintenance timelines.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; further degrees or certifications preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in managing facilities teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for GLP laboratory facility space.
• Coordinate with service providers and vendors on maintenance tasks.
• Ensure timely renewal of maintenance contracts and monitor contractor performance.
• Maintain safe GLP space environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare monthly management reports and incident reports.
• Assist employees with facilities-related requests and inquiries.
• Support emergency responses for facilities matters and end-user needs.
