Job summary

S:US is seeking a Facilities Manager for their Bronx, NY shelter. This role provides supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff, coordinating schedules, timesheets, and work orders at East 178 Street Bronx, NY 10457.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in security or building maintenance, office management or supervision experience, and strong writing and organizational skills. CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance.
• Experience in office management and/or staff supervision is required.
• Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special need’s population is required.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
• F-80, CPR/ First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff.
• Oversee scheduling, timesheets, and requests for time off; coordinate work assignments.
• Maintain and update Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log; coordinate staff training and evaluation.
• May fulfill duties of residential aides and/or custodial personnel in their absence.
